Funny that I have another Feak-related posting within a couple of days…ok, a week….

When Feak died, we buried her out near the garden. I put a small but very nice evergreen-type bush there, that she might be eternally “under the Christmas tree” since she liked it there so much.

It’s been raining here a LOT the last couple of months. And it’s also made it impossible to keep up with the weeds. I’ve been weeding constantly and exhaust myself daily, but never quite got to Feak’s spot. The grass grew up and around that bush, and Hub couldn’t find it the last time he mowed the lawn…..and you can guess what happened to the bush. Half of it’s in a bucket of water… I really don’t think it will live, but I’ll give it a shot.

Anyway, I’ve been wanting an herb garden. When we were in Maine last year, I went to the Botanical Gardens, and saw this:

I showed this to Hub. We decided to put it over Feak’s grave, the place was good, and she would only send Good Vibes.

This is what I got…

I cracked up. Talk about crop circles…. Oh, and she’s under the railroad tie. At least he can’t run the mower over her any more.

I have all the stuff to plant. Just have to get some more dirt….and wait for it to STOP RAINING…..
