In the meantime, we are looking for ancestors of the following:
Seth C. Thomas, born August 15, 1817 and then died in Georgetown, PA on Oct. 18, 1902. We have evidence he and his family traveled from Delaware County (the Nether Providence area) and there are actually three Seth Thomases in the census at the turn of the century...we have a will belonging to one of them....no way of knowing which one is which...yet...or where they came from!
This Seth is my gggrandfather on my dad's side. It is really aggravating that the men in my family know squat about their family history... grrrr
